Why was General Wolf (real name Dzekashu Hans) killed by Unity Warriors?
After a lengthy conversation with Capo Daniel and FM No Pity of ADF Unity Warriors, I was able to understand the following. General Wolf (real name Dzekashu Hans) was killed because he was bringing disrepute to the Struggle. FM No pity explained it this way – Amba does not control territory and do not have prisons, so there was nowhere to lock him up. Besides.
If he was punished and released, he would have come back for revenge, so it was best to just neutralise the threats and close the chapter. Some of the atrocities that General wolf committed included.. (But not limited to).
- Kidnapping of students from St Augustine
- Murder of the Two sons of Fon of Nso
- Kidnapping of the Fon of Nso
- Stealing and looting the palace of the Fon of Nso
- Stealing and seizing Vehicles, etc
- And Just a few days before he was captured by Unity Warriors, Hans beheaded someone in Kikai.
These are just a few of his atrocities which led to his capture and elimination.
